  • 08/20/2020: ExOptronics debuts the ultra narrow linewidth laser module from current EX-Q938 and EX-Q754 laser. With improved drive circuit, EX-NL938 delivers the stable, ultra narrow linewidth ( <100Khz) with maintaining the other super performance from EX-Q938. EX-NL754 is another ultra narrow linewidth module with lower output power at lower cost.

  • 04/15/2019: Exoptronics set up the own RIN testing system to screen the RIN for EX-Q938 product across 0-20GHz.

  • 06/15/2016: Exoptronics improved the 1310 DFB laser’s 3dB modulation bandwidth >20 GHz for 1310 DFB with low noise figure. New modified con-planar design dramatically improved the RF performance on 7-PIN packages.

  • 12/20/2015: Ex-Q938 products gained the positive feedback on extreme low RIN (or noise figure) across the 20GHz bandwidth.

  • 2/23/2015: Exoptronics improved the DWDM 1550 DFB laser and 1310 DFB laser’s 3dB modulation bandwidth, >15GHz for 1550 DFB and >19 GHz for 1310 DFB with low noise figure. The lasers were packaged into 7 pin butterfly case with K(SMA)-connector.

  • 7/28/2014: Allray, Inc qualified ExOptronics 10G 1310 DML for SFP+.

  • 5/23/2014: Exoptronics developed Buried Heterosturtcure (BH) low chirp DWDM 1550 DFB laser for analog application (RF, DOSCSIS 3.1, etc). The packaged butterfly laser under 79 NTSC channel 3.9% OMI, 25KM fiber transmission exhibited good performance - 49dBc CSO and -68 dBc of CTB.

  • 2/28/2014: Exoptronics developed Buried Heterosturtcure (BH) high speed direct modulated DWDM 1550 DFB laser and 1310 DFB laser, the 3dB modulation bandwidth is more than 10G with good linearity. The laser were packaged into K-connector butterfly case for ordering.

  • 1/21/2014: Exoptronics developed Buried Heterosturtcure (BH) high power DWDM C-band 1550 DFB laser, the PM fiber coupled butterfly laser could deliver > 80 mW at 130 KHz linewidth under 450mW CW driving. The unique grating & device structure design enable the high power and narrow linewidth for analog application.

  • 11/15/2013: Exoptronics developed Buried Heterosturtcure(BH) high power DFB laser at 1343 and 1392 nm for water vapor detection. The butterfly packaged could deliver > 20mW fiber output under 100mA CW driving.

  • 7/30/2013: Exoptronics developed Buried Heterosturtcure (BH) high power DFB laser at 1654nm for CH4 sensor application. The packaged butterfly could deliver > 20mW fiber out at 150mA CW. The same laser could deliver more than 50mW fiber out under 10us pulse width, 1% duty cycle 400mA current injection, it can be used for OTDR equipments.

  • 5/20/2013: Exoptronics developed Buried heterosturture(BH) with single transverse mode, high power OTDR used 1310 FP and 1550 FP lasers. The TOCAN lasers could delivers 200mW and 120mW for 1310 nm and 1550 nm separately under 10us pulse width, 1% duty cycle 450mA current injection.
